About this game
Fruit Blocks is a classic match-3 puzzle in the spirit of the candy-crushing greats. Swap two adjacent fruits on an 8×8 board to line up three or more of a kind — and watch them burst in a shower of juice droplets, sparkles and shockwave rings, with screen shake and rising combo notes to match. Match four in a row to forge a line blaster, an L or T shape to forge a bomb, and five in a row to earn a rainbow fruit that wipes every fruit of one kind off the board. Swap two specials together for even bigger fireworks.
Every level gives you a score target and a limited number of moves. Clear it and your leftover moves explode into bonus points; miss it and the run ends. The difficulty climbs as you go — higher targets, fewer moves, and a sixth fruit joining the board from level 3 — and your progress earns you fruit ranks, from humble Seed all the way to Fruit Legend. Chain cascades multiply your score, so one clever swap can set off a glorious chain reaction. A cheerful synthesized soundtrack and juicy pop-and-blast sound effects — all generated in code — keep the fruit flying.
Your total score is recorded under your nickname in a local top-10 leaderboard with your personal best — stored in this browser, with the same export/import save system as our other games, so you can carry your records to another computer.
Like everything on this shelf, this game was built entirely by AI in July 2026 from a single prompt — the match engine, the particle effects, the sounds, the music. A playable snapshot of what AI could build at that moment.
How to play

- Reach the target score before your moves run out · leftover moves become bonus points

💾 Your progress is saved automatically in your browser — close the tab and your world will be here when you return.
Save data & moving to a new computer
Your world is saved automatically in this browser on this device (localStorage). There is no account or server — a different browser or a different computer starts with a fresh world.
To back up or move your world: open the game menu (press ESC) and click “💾 Export Save”. A single .json file is downloaded containing everything — the world seed, every block you changed, and your quest progress. On the new computer, open the game and click “📂 Import Save”, then choose that file.
That one .json file is all you need to migrate. Keep an export as a backup: clearing the browser’s site data (cookies/cache cleanup) also deletes the save.
