About this game

MeNew Kart is a browser kart racer in the spirit of the classics: a 3-lap circuit with hills and banked corners, 10 CPU rivals, boost pads, and item boxes. Grab a 🍄 mushroom for a burst of speed, drop a 🍌 banana behind you, or fire a 🐢 shell down the road. Hold drift through a corner and release it for a turbo boost — the longer the drift, the bigger the boost. Wheels spin and steer, karts lean into slopes, and a minimap tracks all eleven racers in real time.

Eleven racers, each with their own top speed, acceleration and handling: the girls Uja, Uni and jjojjo 🎀, the crowned MeNew, duck-billed ND, and JB, JW, IW, DS, GS and KJ. Pick a nickname, pick a racer, and chase the finish line.

Your finish times are recorded under your nickname in a local top-10 leaderboard with your personal best — stored in this browser, with the same export/import save system as our other games, so you can carry your records to another computer.

Like everything on this shelf, this game was built entirely by AI in July 2026 from a single prompt — the track engine, the kart physics, the CPU drivers, the sounds. A playable snapshot of what AI could build at that moment.

How to play

  • ↑ / W — accelerate · ↓ / S — brake · ← → / A D — steer
  • Space — drift (hold through a corner, release for a turbo boost)
  • Shift — use item (🍄 boost · 🍌 banana trap · 🐢 shell)
  • ESC — menu · Finish 3 laps to set your record
  • 📱 Mobile — touch controls appear automatically: steer ◀ ▶ on the left, gas / brake / drift / item on the right

💾 Your progress is saved automatically in your browser — close the tab and your world will be here when you return.

Save data & moving to a new computer

Your world is saved automatically in this browser on this device (localStorage). There is no account or server — a different browser or a different computer starts with a fresh world.

To back up or move your world: open the game menu (press ESC) and click “💾 Export Save”. A single .json file is downloaded containing everything — the world seed, every block you changed, and your quest progress. On the new computer, open the game and click “📂 Import Save”, then choose that file.

That one .json file is all you need to migrate. Keep an export as a backup: clearing the browser’s site data (cookies/cache cleanup) also deletes the save.
